Zdravmedtech CJSC together with the Ministry of Public Health of the is a developer and executer of the Federal Program of competitive power development of the disposable medical clothing and linen domestic manufacture in 2004-2010.

Generally, this Program is indented to satisfy the public health needs in the field of disposable medical clothing and linen.

The implementation of the Program in 2004-2007 allowed developing of the domestic competitive products, improvement of the import substituting manufacture, increasing of the export potential, renovation of the existing manufacturing capacity on the basis of the advanced technologies, and satisfying the public health needs for the disposable medical clothing and linen in the sphere of priority branches of medicine: cardiosurgery, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, transplantology, obstetrics, and gynecology.

The execution of the programmed measures up to 2010 will ensure the establishment of large-scale manufacturing complex on production of disposable medical clothing and linen in Russia which satisfies in full the public health needs for this type of products. This will also satisfy the strategic needs of defense complex, all-Russian service of disaster medicine which functionally consolidates the service of disaster medicine of the Ministry of Public Health of Russia, service of emergency medicine of the Ministry of Defense of , and other federal bodies of executive power. Also the following tasks will be completed: to supply the domestic market and carry out export delivery; to significantly increase the technical level and competitive power of the domestic disposable medical clothing and linen.

Solution of the problem of disposable medical clothing and linen application represents one of the most significant social tasks of the practice public health. Relevance and the applied importance consist in the fact that the development and mastering the manufacture of the up-to-date disposable medical clothing and linen provide the cardiosurgery, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, orthopedic surgery, transplantology, stomatology, obstetrics, gynecology, etc. with the contemporary medical products contributing to the decrease in probability of infections in the course of advanced technology types medical treatment in different branches of medicine, and to the increase of organization in medical and hospital aid to the people at liquidation of disasters‘ consequences.

One of the major development factors in the field of manufacturing the products for medical application is to improve the legal basis enabling the growth of the domestic enterprises competitive power, development of economic innovation component, entrance to the foreign market, implementation of the National project called "Health", reformation of sanitation and epidemiological environment in the country.

However nowadays in Russia the development of medical aid to the people is restrained by the low level of medical establishment supply with the disposable medical clothing and linen which significantly affects the capability to apply advanced medical technologies, for instance, and thereby decreasing the quality of patient treatment.
